Reproduce an old printed cotton faithfully and you have to reproduce its damage too. This one keeps the brushwork of a nineteenth-century original along with the fraying and the bare patches where colour had gone, so the finished cloth arrives already worn, an old garden rather than a new one.

At 140 g it is light, and the repeat is enormous: 125 cm vertically across the full 138 cm width. That combination points it at curtains and loose decoration, where the whole pattern can fall in a single drop. Pure cotton, made in Italy.
