A plain satin in which the silk does the lighting and the cotton does the structure: 32 per cent silk gives the face its sheen, 68 per cent cotton gives it enough body to hold a fold rather than slide out of one. Fifteen colours, drawn to sit alongside a good deal of the rest of the Rubelli range, which makes it useful when a scheme needs a plain to answer a figured cloth.
