Lyres, drawn loosely and repeating at 22 by 35 cm across a lampas that plays matt against lustre. The instrument is the only motif and it does all the work; there is no ground pattern competing with it, so what changes as you move past is the light on the figure rather than the figure itself. Hung as a curtain it shifts with any movement of air, which seems to be the point of choosing an instrument as the subject.
