It began as a study of sewing-machine stitches, a mesh of them, reworked until the geometry was only implied. What survives in the jacquard is a very small figure that behaves as texture, and the impression that the cloth has been stitched rather than woven.
Silk in the blend gives the satin its light. Nine colours, pastels with a single grey among them, for drapery and decoration. 135 cm wide, made in Italy. Design Formafantasma.
