Crinkling is the trick. It is a finishing technique Rubelli devised that puts a fine, irregular crush through the cloth, and on Trevira CS the effect is to take away the flatness that ordinarily gives a synthetic away. Close to, it passes for silk.
The damask beneath is deliberately plain-spoken, one simple motif on a long 91 cm vertical repeat, in a palette on the fresh side of classical. At 239 g it is light and hangs accordingly, and it is rated for light use.
The fire certification is full: French M1, German B1, IMO 8, Italian Classe 1, NFPA 260 and the British contract curtain and upholstery standards. Nine colours, 135 cm wide, made in Italy.
