Reduce a classical motif far enough and it stops being a motif. The original decoration here has been scaled down until it fades back into the ground it sits on, present as the shadow of a pattern rather than as pattern proper, which is useful in a room that already has enough going on.
Just under a quarter silk, with viscose and cotton, over a repeat of roughly 69 cm each way. Rated for light use: curtains, blinds, cushions. Seven colours, 135 cm wide, made in Italy.
