A cotton canvas ground with linen and viscose carried in the weft, which is a more elaborate construction than the plain appearance suggests. Where the weft contrasts with the ground the two fibres separate visually and the cloth behaves like a contemporary shantung; where they sit close, it reads as a plain texture. Thirty colourways cover both cases.
