A plain cotton satin, made to sit underneath the rest of the collection, not to compete with it. The satin weave floats the warp over several picks, which is what produces the sheen; done in cotton instead of silk it comes out softer and less glassy, closer to the 1930s London that Luke Edward Hall had in mind.
Ten shades run from dusty pastels through to deeper jewel tones, so it can be matched to any of the woven and printed designs it accompanies. 145 cm wide, 380 g, 40,000 Martindale rubs, which is proper upholstery grade. Made in Italy.
