Gold replaces the coloured yarns of the Nexus matelasse, and not one gold but several: laminated gold and twisted gold in multiple variations, so the metal is never uniform across the surface but shifts between flat sheen and a rougher, granular glint. The quilted relief gives it somewhere to catch.
It exists in a single version, which is the honest answer for a cloth whose subject is one material. 470 g, 135 cm wide, with recycled cotton and polyester in the mix alongside the metallic yarn. Made in Italy.
