Murano glass carries its pattern in the body rather than on the surface, and that is the effect being chased here: a translucent figure worked diagonally into a matt ground, legible by a difference in density rather than in colour. It holds even at the palest end of the range, which is exactly where this sort of thing usually vanishes.
Woven at Rubelli's own mill and bonded to a nonwoven ground, sold by the metre at 135 cm wide, in four colourways, with a stainproof finish. Tested to EN 12149. Woven and finished in Italy.
