Read it from a distance and it is mosaic: small rectangles laid edge to edge, each taking colour slightly differently from its neighbour, so the wall vibrates a little instead of sitting flat. The texture underneath was woven specially for it rather than adapted from an existing cloth, which is why the tesserae have the irregularity of something made rather than drawn.
Embossed vinyl on a heavy nonwoven base, washable and scratch-resistant, a metre wide in 10-metre rolls. Eight colourways, and they go further into colour than most of this collection allows. Certified to EN 13501-1, ASTM E-84 and IMO 5. Made in Italy.
