Small raised points cover the surface at close intervals, like studs set into the cloth, and because each catches light from a slightly different angle the whole thing shimmers when it moves. Four per cent metallic yarn does the rest of that work.
It is a micro-pattern, so from any distance it behaves as a plain with an unsettled surface. 370 g at 140 cm, in cotton, cupro, viscose and acetate, rated for regular use. Eight colours. Made in Italy.
