A melange flame-retardant fibre does something unexpected here. It reproduces the irregular, slightly uneven texture of a hand-woven Iranian rug, the kind of surface that comes from hand-spun yarn rather than from any drawn pattern. At a distance it is a texture; close up it is a construction.
All five versions are reversible, so the cloth can be turned and either face used. Trevira CS throughout, 570 g, 40,000 Martindale, certified for contract upholstery and curtains in the UK, France, Germany and Italy, with IMO 8 for marine. A 26 cm vertical repeat against 66.9 cm across, half the 135 cm width. Made in Italy.
