Pardes is Hebrew for garden, and the design comes from a contemporary painting worked in watercolour, printed digitally at a scale large enough to keep the brushwork legible. The repeat is 102 cm vertically and 130 cm across, the full width, so this is closer to a panel than to a pattern: one drawing per drop rather than a motif marching up a wall.
Digital printing is what makes it possible. Watercolour lives in its soft transitions, and those are exactly what a conventional print process loses. The three versions are named for seasons and the palette moves accordingly. 320 g, 40,000 Martindale, for upholstery. Made in Italy.
