Raffia, or near enough that you would have to look twice. The construction is technical, polyamide and cotton, but it has the flat, faintly papery character of the plant fibre and the light hand that goes with it. What it does not have is raffia's fragility: 80,000 Martindale is a great deal of wear for a cloth this light, and it goes on walls as readily as onto furniture or into a curtain.
