Sand under shallow water, ridged by the movement above it. That is the surface this satin is after, and it gets there physically rather than pictorially: the cloth is crinkled, so the ripples are genuine relief, and a shinier weave laid in at a slight colour contrast catches light along the crests.
The effect only works because the contrast is slight. Push it further and you would have a pattern; kept this quiet, it stays a surface that moves. 290 g at 130 cm, with a 65 cm repeat in both directions.
