Precious stones, painted in watercolour and then printed: irregular facets with soft, bleeding edges, arranged into shapes that are almost geometric and never quite. The watercolour origin is what keeps them from looking like a graphic.
The specification is more serious than the design lets on. 64,000 Martindale on a flame-retardant polyester, certified for contract upholstery and curtains in the UK, France, Germany, Italy and the United States, with IMO 8 for marine. That is a print that will hold up on a chair in a busy house. 350 g, 130 cm wide, four colours. Made in Italy.
