Rococo frames, rectangular and ornamented, laid out across a silk satin ground and then broken up by a craquele running over them at random. The cracking is the interesting decision. It takes a formal and rather grand motif and gives it the look of something aged and slightly damaged, which is a good deal easier to live with.
Silk satin behind, metallic yarn at 11 per cent for the frames, cotton and viscose making up the rest, at 340 g. The repeat is 60 cm vertically and 69 cm horizontally, half the 140 cm width, so a whole frame sits within a drop with room around it.
Rated for upholstery, which for a cloth this light means seating that is looked after. Six colours. Made in Italy.
