Crossed marks at a large scale, abstract and loosely drawn, worked into a weave of natural yarns with lurex running through it. The lurex is what makes the design: against a matt natural ground it picks out some of the marks and leaves others alone, so the pattern reorganises itself depending on where the light is coming from. A printed vinyl can imitate the drawing but not that, which is the argument for the textile version.
Cloth on a nonwoven ground, sold by the metre at 140 cm wide, with a 70 cm repeat in both directions, in five colourways. Tested to EN 12149. Made in Italy.
