Shantung is irregular by nature, its slubs coming from the silk itself, and this cloth borrows that unevenness on purpose. The viscose weft is what makes it shine, so the surface moves rather than sits, and the irregularities catch that movement as it goes.
Semi-covering rather than transparent, and 315 cm wide, which means it hangs railroaded with no horizontal seam and can be gathered generously. 345 g a metre, viscose with polyester and cotton, three colourways. Design by Formafantasma, woven in India.
