A damask drawn as handwriting: soft curved lines, broken and overlapping, that suggest a script without ever committing to a letter. The crinkled ground puts a shadow behind them, and the shadow is what gives the design depth, since the drawing itself is barely there.
At 240 g a metre it is light and it is meant to be gathered. The palette stays in pastels throughout, which is deliberate; this is a design that wants light passing through it rather than falling on it. Trevira CS, flame-retardant and washable, certified for contract curtains and upholstery in the UK, France, Germany, Italy and the United States, and IMO 8.
