The geometry is shaded rather than flat, which is how the Deco period handled it: each element has a graded fall of tone across it instead of a hard edge. Matt and shiny surfaces alternate, and because they do not alternate evenly the rhythm across a wall stays broken rather than metronomic.
Woven at Rubelli's own mill and bonded to a nonwoven ground, sold by the metre at 135 cm wide, with a 60 cm vertical and 67.5 cm horizontal repeat. Four colourways, split evenly between warm and cool. Stainproof finished and tested to EN 12149. Woven and finished in Italy.
