Eight yarns, chosen to be as unlike each other as possible, worked in horizontal bands: metallic against chine, shine against matte, one band never quite agreeing with the next. It is a stripe assembled out of materials rather than out of colours.
40,000 Martindale and 588 g a metre, so it takes heavy use, on a Trevira CS ground certified for contract upholstery and curtains in the UK, France, Germany, Italy and the United States, and IMO 7 for marine. Eleven colourways, a 59 cm vertical repeat, 140 cm wide. Made in Italy.
