Two yarns do the work: a chenille for softness and a frisé for the broken, slightly rubbed surface, worked together so the cloth reads as a velvet that has already had twenty years of use. That worn quality is deliberate, and it is also why marks and wear will be slow to show on it.
Underneath it is flame retardant polyester at 50,000 Martindale, certified for contract upholstery and curtains in the UK with IMO 8 for marine, and it washes. Sixteen colourways. 780 g, 140 cm wide, made in Italy.
