The original is a Venetian velvet of the second half of the fifteenth century, and Rubelli has reproduced it rather than reinterpreted it: a silk pile, dense and full in the hand, on a silk and cotton ground. It behaves like the thing it copies, which means light use only. Curtains, cushions, a chair that is looked at more than sat in. Twenty colourways, 505 g, 135 cm wide, made in Italy.
