1975 is a curvilinear stripe with the earthy, gestural quality of a hand-painted mark, its tonal shifts and relaxed movement evoking the looser aesthetic of the decade for which it is named. The design sits at a mid-scale and works particularly well on a single wall where its rhythm can be read without interruption.
Part of the Backdrop I collection, it is printed in the United States on a 69-centimetre width with a 69-centimetre repeat in both directions. The paper is spongeable and sold by the metre from 9.14-metre rolls. It is produced in four colourways and suits wallcovering.
