Acadia is a horizontal fringed stripe drawn from the Schumacher archive of the 1970s, woven with silk mélange yarn that gives the cloth a handmade, textured quality. The fringe creates gentle ridges across the width, and the blended yarn adds subtle variation in tone and depth along each stripe.
Woven in Italy from viscose, linen, cotton and polyester, it is 141 centimetres wide with an 8-centimetre vertical repeat. Dry cleaning is recommended. Available in three colourways, the cloth suits curtains, blinds, cushions and upholstery where its artisanal character and multi-textural weave can be seen and felt.
