Acanthus Stripe Sisal takes a classical acanthus motif and abstracts it into a stylised vertical stripe, the pattern printed onto a sisal ground so the design sits within the texture of the natural fibre. The stripe is airy rather than rigid, with a lightness that comes from both the drawing and the way the sisal softens the print.
Made in the United States, it is 86 centimetres wide with a vertical repeat of 13 centimetres and a horizontal repeat of 29 centimetres. Sold by the metre, rolls are 7.312 metres long. It should be vacuumed only with a soft brush and is available in a wide range of colourways.
