Schumacher | Adelaide Embroidery

Adelaide Embroidery is a delicate all-over botanical, graceful boughs laden with flowers and fruit satin-stitched onto a lustrous silk-rayon ground. The design is tonal and textural, the embroidery catching light differently across the surface so the pattern reads with quiet, elegant restraint rather than obvious contrast.

Embroidered in India on a ground of two-thirds silk and one-third rayon, it is 137 centimetres wide with a vertical repeat of 37 centimetres and a horizontal of 65. Dry cleaning is recommended. It suits curtains, blinds, cushions and light upholstery.
