Agnes Sheer is a windowpane embroidery worked in chainstitch on a linen ground, the grid deliberately irregular so the geometry feels drawn rather than measured. The scale is small and domestic, the hand-stitched lines catching the light unevenly, and the cloth has the unguarded charm of something made by hand rather than machine.
It is embroidered in India on pure linen, 140 centimetres wide, with a three-centimetre repeat in both directions. Dry cleaning is recommended. The cloth is a sheer, so it suits curtains and blinds where you want a veil of texture rather than opacity, filtering daylight without blocking it entirely.
