Albert Fret is a non-directional geometric jacquard, a tight fretwork pattern repeating at 5 centimetres both vertically and horizontally so it reads as an all-over texture rather than a formal grid. The cloth is tumble-washed after weaving, which softens the hand and gives it a relaxed, lived-in character from the start.
Woven in the United States, it is 55 per cent cotton, 36 per cent rayon and 9 per cent polyester, 137 centimetres wide, and available in three colourways. Dry cleaning is recommended. It suits cushions and upholstery, the sturdy weave and soft finish making it practical for seating in regular domestic use.
