Aleksy Stripe arranges scrolling leaves, feathery paisleys and other delicate flourishes into a striped framework, the whole printed as a chintz so the surface carries a subtle sheen. The effect is formal but not stiff, the stripe giving order to the ornament without overwhelming it, and the 69-centimetre vertical repeat ensures the pattern reads clearly on larger pieces.
Printed in the United Kingdom on 100% cotton at 137 centimetres wide, with a 46-centimetre horizontal repeat. Dry cleaning is recommended. The cloth suits upholstery and cushions, and is available in three colourways.
