Schumacher | Alento Damasco

Alento Damasco is a large-scale damask that sets a satin ground against a linen-textured figure, so the pattern emerges through contrasts of sheen and surface rather than colour alone. The repeat is 164 centimetres vertically and 72 horizontally, scaled for substantial pieces of furniture or long drops.

It is jacquard-woven in Italy from silk, cotton and acetate, 144 centimetres wide. Dry clean recommended. The cloth suits cushions and upholstery where the interplay of satin and linen texture can be appreciated at close range.
