Schumacher | Alessia Floral

Alessia Floral is a large-scale floral jacquard with a lampas construction that lifts the pattern into relief, and chenille yarns that add a soft, textured hand. The blossoms and scrolling vines are drawn at a scale that fills the cloth confidently, the vertical repeat running to 102 centimetres, the horizontal to 70. The design has a classical bearing but the scale and weave give it a directness that works in contemporary rooms.

Woven in Italy from cotton and linen, it is 140 centimetres wide and recommended for dry cleaning. It suits upholstery, curtains, blinds and cushions. The cloth is woven at one of Europe's oldest family mills.
