Alexander takes its cue from quilt geometries: a grid of pinwheel and rolling star motifs set against a delicate multidirectional striped ground. The design has a hand-painted quality with tonal variations that soften the geometry, and the large 69-centimetre repeat in both directions gives it architectural scale, so it works equally well wrapping a whole room or on a single feature wall.
It is printed in the United States on a 69-centimetre width and supplied by the metre, with rolls of just over nine metres. The wallcovering is spongeable and comes in three colourways, making it suitable for sitting rooms, bedrooms and hallways where a modern geometric pattern is wanted.
