Schumacher | Alina Performance

Alina Performance is a deconstructed houndstooth woven with chenille yarns, the familiar check softened and broken up so it reads as texture rather than pattern. The chenille gives the cloth a soft hand despite its sturdy construction, and the blend of synthetic and natural fibres makes it practical for both domestic and contract settings.

Woven in Turkey from fifty-five per cent polyester, thirty per cent acrylic, ten per cent viscose and five per cent linen, it is 137 centimetres wide with a vertical repeat of 17 centimetres and a horizontal repeat of 8 centimetres. Dry cleaning is recommended. It suits upholstery and cushions where durability and a soft hand are both required.
