Schumacher | Alpaca Velvet

Alpaca Velvet is a plain velvet woven with 60% alpaca fibre, giving the pile a particular softness and subtle natural variation in tone and texture. The cloth reads as a quiet, unadorned surface with the inherent warmth and lustre of the animal fibre, rather than the harder sheen of a synthetic.

Woven in Belgium from alpaca, cotton and polyester, it is 137 centimetres wide. Dry cleaning is recommended. It suits upholstery and cushions, where the alpaca content brings both comfort and durability to everyday use.
