Alpine is a solid cloth woven to resemble hand-knitting, the surface textured with a gentle, looped irregularity that gives it warmth and character. Despite its soft appearance, the weave is stable and hardwearing, the blend of fibres providing both comfort and resilience for everyday use.
Woven in the United States from cotton, wool, polyester and nylon, it is 127 centimetres wide and suits upholstery and cushions. It is offered in several colourways and must be dry cleaned only, the wool content requiring careful maintenance to preserve the cloth's hand and appearance.
