Schumacher | Amagansett Linen Crewel

Amagansett Linen Crewel is a chain-stitched embroidery on linen, depicting stylised flowers and foliage in a loose, naive hand. The wool stitching sits proud of the ground, giving the cloth a tactile, worked surface, and the design has a mid-scale presence that reads clearly without dominating.

Embroidered in India on a linen ground with wool thread, it is 137 centimetres wide with a vertical repeat of 86 centimetres and a horizontal repeat of 132 centimetres. Dry cleaning is recommended. It suits upholstery, curtains, blinds and cushions where a textural botanical is wanted.
