Amaltas Panel Set is a two-panel scenic wallpaper based on an eighteenth-century block-printed fabric found in the Schumacher archives, its composition divided between an upper realm of exotic flowers and a lower world of animals moving through fantastically patterned caves. The design has an otherworldly, enchanting quality, the kind of narrative decoration that rewards close looking and gives a room a sense of theatre.
Printed in the United States, the set is 137 centimetres wide with a vertical repeat of 366 centimetres and a horizontal repeat of 274 centimetres, each panel running to 3.656 metres. It is spongeable and available in five colourways, part of the East Meets West collection.
