Amates Hand Woven Brocade is a 39-inch panel woven and embroidered by hand on a backstrap loom by Maya women weavers in Guatemala. The geometric pattern runs in chevrons across the cloth, each panel a singular piece with slight natural variations in size, pattern and colour that speak to its origin and making.
Woven entirely of cotton, it is 48 centimetres wide with a vertical repeat of 19 centimetres and a horizontal repeat of 10 centimetres. Made in Guatemala, it is dry clean recommended and suits cushions and upholstery. Available in five colourways.
