Amboise Linen Embroidery takes its scrolling, graphic pattern from ornamental ironwork, simplified and reinterpreted in layered embroidery stitching on a dyed linen ground. The result is a design that reads as both architectural and organic, the stitching giving the pattern physical relief and a play of shadow across the surface.
It is embroidered in India, composed of linen and viscose, 127 centimetres wide, with a 38-centimetre vertical repeat and a 43-centimetre horizontal. Dry cleaning is recommended. The cloth suits curtains, blinds, cushions and upholstery.
