Amira Hand Block Printed Tape takes a delicate floral pattern and prints it by hand onto a ribbed cotton ground using traditional carved wood blocks. The process leaves the slight irregularities and variations in registration that come with hand-printing, so each length has the nuance and character of an artisan technique rather than mechanical repetition.

Made in India from pure cotton, it is eight centimetres wide with an eight-centimetre vertical repeat and a four-centimetre horizontal repeat. Dry cleaning is recommended. It suits curtains, cushions and upholstered furniture, where the hand-printed detail adds a layer of craft and individuality.
