Anatolia Embroidery takes its cue from traditional suzani textiles, with stylised leaves and flowers arranged in a deliberately asymmetric composition that suggests the hand of the maker. The design is first printed by hand on linen, then embroidered, so each motif carries both the irregularity of the print and the raised texture of the stitching.
Made in India from linen and cotton, it is 134 centimetres wide with a 36-centimetre vertical repeat and a 69-centimetre horizontal repeat. Dry cleaning is recommended. It suits cushions and light upholstery, and is also produced as a wallpaper.
