Schumacher | Angkor Embroidery

Angkor Embroidery is worked in varied embroidery techniques on a lightweight linen ground, the abstract motifs inspired by Southeast Asian textiles. The stitching builds texture and a quiet intricacy across the cloth, the 77-centimetre vertical repeat allowing the pattern to develop without repetition feeling insistent. The large scale and textural quality make it particularly effective for window treatments.

Made in India, it is 60% linen, 36% viscose rayon and 4% spun polyester, 130 centimetres wide with a 33-centimetre horizontal repeat. Dry cleaning is recommended. The fabric suits curtains, blinds, cushions and upholstery, and comes in two colourways.
