Annika Floral Tapestry takes its cue from early twentieth-century Swedish textiles and cross-stitch samplers, the original artwork drawn by hand in Schumacher's studio. The mid-scale floral has a geometric simplicity and a certain naivety, and the tapestry weave gives it the appearance and hand of needlepoint, so it reads as much like a craft object as a woven cloth.
Woven in the United States from viscose, cotton and polyester, it is 137 centimetres wide with a vertical repeat of 31 centimetres and a horizontal repeat of 71 centimetres. Dry cleaning is recommended. It is intended for upholstery and cushions, and comes in several colourways.
