Schumacher | Antalya Medallion Embroidery

Antalya Medallion Embroidery features four distinct floral motifs embroidered onto a linen ground, each bouquet slightly different in composition and colour. The scale and placement of the motifs—133 centimetres vertically, 142 horizontally—are calculated for cushion fronts or chair backs, so each piece of furniture can carry a single, complete design. The embroidery is worked in acrylic thread, which holds colour well and wears evenly.

Made in India, it is 85 per cent linen with 15 per cent acrylic, 142 centimetres wide. Dry cleaning is recommended. It suits cushions and upholstery, particularly dining chairs, occasional chairs and headboards where the embroidered motifs can be centred and displayed individually, as well as curtains and blinds where the repeat allows.
