Antique Strié Velvet is a cotton and viscose velvet with a fine striation running through the pile, so the surface reads as gently brushed rather than flat. The texture is subtle enough to work as a plain but with more character, and the pile has the density and lustre that make velvet feel substantial underfoot or under hand.
Woven in the United States from cotton and viscose, it is 137 centimetres wide with a one-centimetre horizontal repeat. Dry cleaning is recommended. The cloth is high-performance, so it suits upholstery in regular domestic use as well as curtains, blinds and cushions, and it is offered in a wide palette of colourways.
