Schumacher | Antrim Jute Plain Casement

Antrim Jute Plain Casement is a sheer woven from pure jute on a generous width, the natural fibre giving the cloth an organic, slightly irregular texture that diffuses daylight without blocking it entirely. The weave reads plain but carries the subtle variation inherent to vegetable fibre, so the fabric has presence rather than disappearing against the glass.

Made in Spain, it is 160 centimetres wide and woven in a jacquard construction. The cloth suits curtains, blinds and sheer layering where a natural, unbleached character is wanted, and where the jute's texture can be read against incoming light.
