Schumacher | Archipelago

Archipelago is a quilted diamond woven in cotton and linen, the pattern traditional in structure but rendered with a natural irregularity that reads as contemporary. Subtle variations in the cloth are part of its character, the hand of the weave and the fibre giving it an organic rather than mechanical finish.

Woven in India, it is 131 centimetres wide with a 5-centimetre vertical repeat and 2-centimetre horizontal repeat. The composition is linen, cotton and a small percentage of polyester. Dry cleaning is recommended. It suits cushions and upholstery, the quilted surface adding both texture and structure to seating.
